Our business is based mobile and can service almost anywhere. We service most brands of inflatable lifejackets on the market within Australia. Alan Hocking our Service Manager has been trained and certified by Stormy Seas in Hobart and is accredited with Stormy Seas, Burke, Marlin, PFD Australia, Jarvis Walker, SOS Marine, AXIS, Spinlock, Hutchwilco, Shimano,Watersnake, JM Gillies and most other brands of inflatable lifejackets. He is the only certified servicing agent for the ACT/Southern NSW Region. Alan has been involved with Charter Boats, Professional and Amateur fishing since the 1980's, having owned and built many boats of his own.
He gained his Coxswain Certificate in 1988 and his Master Class V Certificate of Competency in 1989. He liaised with the NSW Maritime in 1990 and instigated the compulsory wearing of lifejackets on small vessels. He also worked with Maritime and holds the first endorsement to operate a Passenger Vessel during the hours of darkness crossing a river bar in 1991. He has been awarded Bravery Medals for saving lives on the water.
Alan has worked as a part time teacher of Maritime Studies for Commercial Operations with the NSW TAFE for many years.
In the 1990's Alan was involved with the Canberra tourism industry as an owner operator of Australian Capital Cruises on Lake Burley Griffin.
Due to the mandatory 12 monthly inspections of inflatable lifejackets we now operate our MOBILE business throughout NSW servicing inflatable lifejackets. As we have sold our premises in the ACT the business is now mobile and will be touring NSW, the North and South Coast and out West on demand for bulk servicing of Inflatable Lifejackets through boating and fishing clubs etc.
