With the boating season coming on don't forget to get your Inflatable Lifejackets serviced and checked as they have to be serviced annually otherwise if inspected by Maritime or the Police and they are not in current service you could be issued with an infringement notice. *ACT INFLATABLE* *LIFEJACKET SERVICES* *Servicing most brands of Inflatable Lifejackets* Pressure testing bladders in our workshop prior to repacking. Below is a 25g CO2 cylinder that was removed from a three year old jacket that had not been washed after many saltwater fishing trips. The cylinder was corroded into the operating head and it was replaced as well. We service at our workshop in Canberra and can also service whilst mobile. On our inspection we do not just manually inflate the bladder and leave it for 12 hours. We inflate the bladder using calibrated gauges and then it is rechecked 12 hours later, serviced and repacked. Most manually activated jackets can be upgraded to an automatic system and also an approved SOLAS light fitted. Call us for a quote on bulk servicing.
